How to travel to Shunde furniture wholesale markets?
From Guangzhou:
Most taxis in Guangzhou will take you to Lecong furniture market at around RMB 200, or maybe you can rent a car for a whole day for about RMB 500.
Another cheaper option is to take subway Guangfo line to Foshan, get off at the last station and hail a taxi to the furniture market at around RMB 20-30.

US
APHIS
Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) has regulated that certain types of wooden furniture must be originated from APHIS approved suppliers, importers must get pre-import approval and the wooden furniture must go through heat treatment or fumigation procedures.
CPSIA
Mandatory to children’s products including furniture for children younger than 12 years old, CPSIA has listed some requirements for importers: ASTM lab testing, CPSIA tracking label, Children’s Product Certificate (CPC), testing lab, registration card, etc.
Fire safety standards
If you’re importing furniture into California, make sure it complies with the regulation of California Technical Bulletin 117 (TB 117).
EU
REACH

Hi dear, if they have stocks you can get the sofa very fast, however, what country do you want to ship to? Normally it’s shipped by sea coz it takes lots of space, then it will take probably few days to book container, ship to the port, load container, custom declaration, etc.

Since furniture takes up big space, the best way of transportation is by sea. If you buy furniture from different suppliers and their English is very limited, then you would need an agent to help you arrange orders, follow them, carry out quality inspection and arrange shipping by container.
